We are currently looking to fill the following Firmware position in Ottawa (start date around mid to end of June) for a 6 months contract.
Embedded software engineer:
1. Solid C programming and assembly experience
2. Working knowledge of microcontroller- including optimization and interrupts scheduling
3. Experience with integration of hardware and software integration, including debugging software-hardware interaction and the development of hardware device drivers
4. Previous experience with microcontroller such as 8051, ARM, etc.
5. It is preferable to have experience in embedded software for 8051 microcontroller
Scope of work:
- Participate in the development and debugging of device drivers of I2C, MDIO etc
- Participate in development and debugging of a Bootstrap loader
- Participate in coding and debugging of control-oriented algorithms for one of our mixed signal devices.
